Mexico Stocks: Empresas Ica, Grupo Mexico, Penoles Are Active
The following companies had unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 3 p.m. Mexico City time.
The IPC index fell 0.5 percent to 37,816.69.
Empresas Ica SAB (ICA*) , the country’s biggest construction company, fell 4 percent to 23.59 pesos. Shares have declined every day since the company’s Feb. 27 earnings report, which showed total debt increased in the fourth quarter.
Grupo Mexico SAB (GMEXICOB) , the country’s largest mining company, fell 2 percent to 40.49 pesos. Copper for May delivery declined in New York.
Industrias Penoles SAB (PE&OLES*) (PE&OLES* MM), Mexico’s largest silver producer, slipped 3.1 percent to 637.41 pesos. Silver futures for May delivery fell in New York.
