Anand Balasubrahmanyan, who headed Carlyle Group LP’s Southeaset Asia buyout business, left at the end of February after more than four years at the Washington- based company.
Balasubrahmanyan was hired as director in September 2007 from Morgan Stanley (MS) and was most recently a managing director focusing on buyout opportunities in Southeast Asia, said Brian Zhou, a Beijing-based spokesman at Carlyle.
Reuters reported the departure earlier.
