Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher A.J. Burnett will have another examination of his right eye, which was injured when he fouled a bunt back into his face, MLB.com reported.
Burnett will undergo tests today in Pittsburgh, General Manager Neal Huntington told MLB.com.
Burnett, 35, had to leave a bunt-batting tournament in spring training when he undercut the ball off a pitching machine, causing it to ricochet off his face, the website said.
He was acquired by the Pirates from the New York Yankees on Feb. 18.
