Karstadt to Reduce Electronics, Fashion Offerings, FTD Reports

Karstadt Warenhaus GmbH plans to reduce its range of merchandise to simplify its business model, Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing an interview with Chief Executive Officer Andrew Jennings.

The department store chain, which is owned by investor Nicolas Berggruen, will no longer sell entertainment electronics and will reduce its fashion offerings, FTD said.
