Indonesia Increases Government Rice Purchase Price

The Indonesian government increased the minimum price of rice it purchases from farmers to 6,600 rupiah per kilogram from 5,060 rupiah per kilogram to help boost their income, Agriculture Minister Suswono told reporters in Jakarta today.
