Pemex’s Former CEO Ramirez Corzo Joins Oilfield Services Firm

Integradora de Servicios Petroleros Oro Negro recruited Luis Ramirez Corzo, the former chief executive officer of Mexico’s state oil company, Petroleos Mexicanos, as executive president.

Oro Negro “has secured $250 million in commitments” to pursue oilfield service contracts in Mexico, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.

Ramirez Corzo, 64, stepped down from the Mexico City-based company known as Pemex in December of 2006. He will be joined at Oro Negro by Gilberto Perezalonso and Gonzalo Gil White as co- chief executive officers, the company said.
