Celpa Bonds Plunge After Company Files for Bankruptcy Protection

Bonds issued by Centrais Eletricas do Para SA, known as Celpa, tumbled after the company filed for bankruptcy protection. The securities dropped 29 cents to 75 cents on the dollar as of 4:04 p.m. in New York, according to Trace, the bond price reporting system of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
