Peru Stocks: Maple Energy, Panoro Minerals, Rio Alto Mining

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.4 percent to 22,729.93. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index (MXPECAPD) slid 0.4 percent to 2,880.67.

Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO) gained for a ninth day, adding 4 percent to $4.68, after rising earlier to a record $4.69. The gold producer rose along with gains in metal prices and U.S. stocks, said Arlen Lahura, a trader at Lima-based brokerage Coril SAB. Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, climbed 1.4 percent to 73 cents.

Maple Energy Plc (MPLE) , the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, fell 3 percent to $1.30 after crude declined in New York.
