Eesti Energia Plans to Boost Baltic Market Share, BNS Says

Eesti Energia AS, the biggest Baltic electricity utility, plans to increase its share of the Baltic electricity market from about 24 percent to as much as 30 percent, according to the Baltic News Service.

The energy company currently has about 72 percent of the Estonian electricity market, 15 percent of the Latvian market, and a 7 percent share in Lithuania, according to Energia’s Chief Financial Officer Margus Kaasik, BNS reported.
