Singapore’s inflation slowed to an eight-month low in January.
The consumer price index rose 4.8 percent in January from a year earlier, the Department of Statistics said in a statement today. That was higher than the median estimate of 15 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News for a 4.7 percent gain. Inflation was 5.5 percent in December, according to previously reported data.
