Czech Stocks: Central European Media, Erste Group Move in Prague
The Czech Republic’s PX (PX) stock index dropped for a second day, sliding 0.2 percent to 1,014.1 at its end of trading in Prague.
The following were among the most active equities on the Prague Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (CETV) fell the most in three months, sliding 7.6 percent to 153.5 koruna, after the television broadcaster said its fourth-quarter loss widened.
Erste Group Bank AG (EBS) of Austria slid 1.5 percent to 468 koruna, its second day of losses. Vienna Insurance Group AG (VIG) retreated for a third day, closing down 1.3 percent to 838 koruna. European stocks fell after a report showed that euro-area services and manufacturing output unexpectedly shrank.
