Suzlon’s Repower Wins 250-Megawatt Turbine Agreement in France

Repower Systems SE, a German unit of India’s wind-turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd. (SUEL), said it signed a framework agreement to deliver as much as 250 megawatts of its machines to French wind farm projects.
The agreement, signed with developer Maia Eolis, a company owned by Maia Group and GDF Suez (GSZ), covers turbines ranging in size from 2 megawatts to 3.4 megawatts that are to be delivered between 2012 and 2015, Repower said today in a website statement.
