New World Resources Falls for Second Day as Coal Prices Retreat

New World Resources Plc (NWR), the biggest coking-coal producer in the Czech Republic, dropped for a second day as the price of the commodity declined.
NWR slid as much as 1.9 percent and traded down 0.5 percent to 156 koruna by 11:18 a.m. in Prague, after a 1.4 percent drop yesterday. Europe’s benchmark coal futures contracts fell 0.7 percent to $113.25 a metric ton in the Netherlands.
