IOSCO Seeks Views on Marketing of Complex Financial Products

Regulators are seeking views on draft international rules for marketing complex financial products amid concerns that some retail investors may have been sold services they didn’t fully understand.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions, a Madrid-based group that brings together regulators from over 100 countries, will consult on the standards until May 21, it said on its website.
