Givaudan Says Missed Out on Getting Lady Gaga Perfume Contract

Givaudan SA (GIVN) missed out on a contract to supply fragrances for Lady Gaga’s forthcoming perfume after pitching to collaborate with the U.S. singer, according to spokesman Peter Wullschleger.

Givaudan made the ingredients for Fantasy by Britney Spears. Its main competitors are closely held Swiss competitor Firmenich International SA, New York-based International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) and Germany’s Symrise AG (SY1) .
