Confidence in Italy Returned in Financial Markets, Public Debt Chief Says

Maria Cannata, Italy’s director of public debt, said investors have regained confidence in Italy.
“The market has again confidence towards Italy, it realized the country has taken its commitments very seriously,” Cannata said at an event in Parma, Italy, today. She also said that investors from Europe, the U.S. and Asia are buying Italian government bonds.
