Spanish Three-Year Notes Stay Lower After 4.07 Billion-Euro Bond Auction

Spanish three-year notes stayed lower after the nation sold 4.07 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2015 and 2019.

The three-year note yield rose six basis points to 3.46 percent as of 9:51 a.m. London time. Spanish 10-year bond yields advanced nine basis points to 5.53 percent.

Spain sold 1.07 billion euros of 4.3 percent bonds due October 2019 at an average yield of 4.832 percent, up from 4.541 percent when the securities were sold on Jan. 19.

It also sold 4 percent bonds maturing in July 2015 to yield 3.332 percent, compared with 2.861 percent at an auction on Feb. 2.
