Ukraine’s Grain Stockpiles Surged 66% to 23.6 Million Tons

Ukraine’s grain stockpiles rose 66 percent to 23.6 million metric tons as of Feb. 1, the state statistics office said.
Wheat accounted for 8.9 million tons, and corn 11.2 million tons, the Kiev-based statistics office said in a statement on its website today.
There were 2.3 million tons of barley stockpiles and 4.1 million tons of sunflower seeds, according to the statement.
