Polish Stocks: Mondi Swiecie, Telekomunikacja Active in Warsaw

Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) fell 0.3 percent to 2,334.23 at 4:39 p.m. in Warsaw.

The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

Mondi Swiecie SA (MSC) , a Polish paper producer, gained 2.3 percent to 67.5 zloty, jumping to a three-month high after Mondi Group said the Poland’s Arbitration Court of the National Chamber of Commerce cleared the way for the Polish company’s purchase of Saturn Management.

Telekomunikacja Polska SA (TPS) lost 0.9 percent to 16.65 zloty after Poland’s biggest phone company controlled by France Telecom SA (FTE) said it expects sales to fall by as much as 3 percent this year.
