Lithuanian Remittances Increased to 3.8% of GDP in 2011, LR Says

Lithuania’s remittances from expatriates rose last year to a record 4 billion litai ($1.52 billion), or 3.8 percent of gross domestic product, Lietuvos Rytas reported today, citing the central bank.
Remittances rose from 3.4 billion litai in 2010, the newspaper said.
