Costa Cruise Bookings Down 35% After Accident, CEO Tells Stampa

Cruise booking volumes dropped 35 percent at Carnival Corp. (CCL)’s Costa Crociere SpA compared with the same period last year after the Concordia shipwreck, Chief Executive Officer Pier Luigi Foschi told La Stampa newspaper.

At least 17 people were killed when the Costa Concordia hit rocks and capsized off the Tuscan coast on Jan. 13.
