Russia May Halt Adoptions by U.S. Citizens on Child Abuse

Russia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry proposed halting adoptions of Russian children by U.S. citizens because of “numerous” cases of child abuse that weren’t penalized severely enough, according to a statement on its website today.
