Jeremy Lin had a career-high 38 points to lead the New York Knicks to their fourth straight victory, a 92-85 win against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Lin, a point guard who was not drafted by any National Basketball Association team after playing at Harvard University, has now scored 20 or more points in four straight games -- all wins for the Knicks (12-15).
Kobe Bryant had 34 points for the Lakers (15-12) at Madison Square Garden in New York.
