Dubai’s JW Marriott Marquis, set to surpass the 72-story Rose Rayhaan as the world’s tallest hotel, is scheduled to open in October, Al-Ittihad reported, citing Rupprecht Queitsch, the hotel’s manager.
The 1,608-room hotel, owned by Emirates Airline, will be 355 meters high when completed. It will open in two phases, with 804 rooms available in October and the rest in 2014, the newspaper said.
