Greece’s government has reached a deal on austerity measures required for a 130 billion-euro ($173 billion) financing package, according to an e-mailed statement from the Greek Prime Minister’s press office.
“Discussions between the Greek government and the troika were successfully completed this morning,” according to the statement. “Political leaders have agreed with the result of those negotiations. Therefore there is a general agreement in the context of the new program ahead of tonight’s Eurogroup meeting.”
