Nokia to Cut Over 1,000 Jobs in Finland, Helsingin Sanomat Says

Nokia Oyj (NOK1V), the world’s biggest maker of mobile phones by volumes, will cut about 1,100 to 1,200 jobs at its factory in Salo, Finland, newspaper Helsingin Sanomat reported today, citing “several” sources it didn’t identify.
Nokia plans an employee meeting in Salo today, the Helsinki-based newspaper said.
