Malawi Struggling to Obtain Foreign Credit, Daily Times Reports

Malawi’s credit-worthiness among foreign lenders has declined and it’s struggling to get loans because of the southern African country’s shortage of foreign currency, the Daily Times reported.
Companies are taking orders from Malawi on a cash-payment basis, the Blantyre-based newspaper, citing Winford Masanjala, director of economic affairs in the Ministry of Finance.
