Kobe Bryant Passes Shaquille O’Neal for Fifth Place in NBA Career Scoring

Kobe Bryant scored 24 points in the first half of the Los Angeles Lakers’ game tonight at the Philadelphia 76ers, passing former teammate Shaquille O’Neal and moving into fifth place on the career scoring list.
Bryant, who has 28,597 points after going 8-for-14 from the field and hitting four 3-pointers in the first half, trails Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points), Karl Malone (36,928), Michael Jordan (32,292) and Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) on the National Basketball Association scoring list.
O’Neal had 28,596 points.
