Romania President Said to Name Ungureanu as PM, Mediafax Says

Romanian President Traian Basescu may nominate Mihai Razvan Ungureanu, the head of the foreign intelligence service, as prime minister, replacing Emil Boc, who resigned earlier today, Mediafax reported, citing unidentified people.

Basescu will announce his nomination at 8 p.m. in Bucharest, the president’s office said today.
