PepsiCo Withdraws From Talks to Buy Brazil Marilan, Estado Says
PepsiCo (PEP) Inc. has probably withdrawn from talks to buy Brazilian cookie-maker Marilan Alimentos SA after encountering tax issues during the due diligence process and offering a lower price than Marilan’s controlling family were seeking, O Estado de S. Marilan and PepsiCo (PEP) officially denied the information, O Estado said.
