EON to Participate in French Hydro-Dam Renewals, Les Echos Says

EON AG will team up with a group of French companies named Hydrocop Concessions to provide hydropower in France, Les Echos reported, citing EON’s head of operations in the country, Luc Poyer.

Hydropower is a “strategic area” for EON in France and the German utility is seeking to manage 2,000 megawatts of the 5,400 megawatts scheduled for renewal, the newspaper said.
