Mitt Romney won today’s Nevada Republican presidential caucuses, television networks projected, giving a third victory in the nomination contest that further solidifyied his front-runner status.

Networks, including CNN and Fox News, called the race for Romney, the former Massachusetts governor.

He had 41 percent of the vote, with 8 percent of the precincts reporting, according to the Associated Press tally. Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich had 25 percent, followed by U.S. Representative Ron Paul of Texas with 22 percent and former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania with 13 percent.
