Inotera Memories Inc. (3474) (3474 TT), a venture between Nanya Technology Corp. (2408) and Micron Technology Inc., gained 4.3 percent to NT$6.29. Inotera President Charles Kau said by phone today that the death of Micron Chief Executive Officer Steve Appleton would have no impact on its operations.
Nanya Technology Corp. (2408 TT) surged 6.6 percent to NT$2.89, the highest close since Nov. 9. January sales climbed 28 percent from a month ago, according to statements to the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
Neo-Solar Power Corp. (3576) (3576 TT) slumped 6.9 percent to NT$27.85, the biggest drop since Nov. 23. January revenue fell 65 percent to NT$850 million, the company said in a statement to the Taiwan Stock Exchange yesterday.
