Inotera Sees No Impact on Business from Micron CEO’s Death

Inotera Memories Inc. (3474) expects no impact on its operations after the death of Micron Technology Inc. (MU) Chief Executive Officer Steve Appleton.

“He certainly contributed a lot to the industry, I respected him very much,” Inotera president Charles Kau said by phone today. “There should be no impact on our business.”

Inotera is a Taoyuan, Taiwan-based memory-chip making venture between Boise, Idaho-based Micron and Nanya Technology Corp (2408), also of Taoyuan. Appleton died after an experimental aircraft he was flying crashed in Boise.
