Telenor Intends to Write Down $720 Million on Licences, Goodwill in India

Telenor ASA (TEL), the Nordic region’s largest phone company, said it would write down 4.2 billion kroner related to licences and goodwill in India after an Indian court canceled 122 mobile-phone permits, including those granted to its venture Uninor.
