Carter Holt Said to Complete NZ$1.45 Billion Loan With KEB

Carter Holt Harvey Ltd. (CAH), the wood products firm owned by New Zealand billionaire Graeme Hart, completed general syndication of a NZ$1.45 billion ($1.2 billion) loan after receiving a commitment from Korea Exchange Bank, said a person familiar with the matter.

Credit Suisse Group AG, which arranged the loan, underwrote the facility along with Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., Bank of New Zealand, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, HSBC Holdings Plc, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and Westpac Banking Corp., the person said. BOS International, Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd., and Rabobank International also joined as senior lenders. BOS International is a unit of Lloyds Banking Group Plc.
