Polish Stocks: Budimex, Globe Trade Shares Are Active in Warsaw

Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) advanced 15.55, or 0.7 percent, to 2,332.17 in Warsaw, climbing for a fourth day and closing at the highest level since Nov. 8. The measure has gained 8.8 percent this month.

The following are among the most active equities on the Warsaw market today. Stock symbols follow company names.

Budimex SA (BDX) advanced for a third day, increasing 1.8 percent to 85 zloty. Poland’s biggest publicly traded construction company signed a deal to build an office-housing complex in Warsaw for 173 million zloty ($54 million), the company said in a regulatory statement today.

Globe Trade Centre SA (GTC) jumped 1.8 percent to 10.58 zloty, the highest level since Nov. 8. Poland’s biggest property developer by market value agreed with its bank creditors to suspend covenants for 97 million euros ($128 million) of loans, it said in an e-mailed statement yesterday.
