Ghana, Ivory Coast Collaborate on Cocoa Challenges, Times Says

Ghana and Ivory Coast have agreed to collaborate to find solutions to challenges facing their respective cocoa industries, the Ghanaian Times reported.

A committee will be set up to identify and recommend measures to improve productivity, the Accra-based newspaper said, citing John Henry Martey-Newman, an official at Ghana’s Presidency. The heads of Ivory Coast and Ghana’s cocoa industries will jointly chair the committee, the Ghanaian Times said.
