Tanzania’s Benchmark Coffee Price Declines 11%, Board Says

Tanzania’s benchmark coffee grade fell 11 percent at a sale on Jan. 26, according to the Tanzania Coffee Board.

The benchmark arabica AA dropped to an average of $251.42 per 50-kilogram (110-pound) bag, from $283.74 a week earlier, the board said in an e-mailed statement today. Supplies of the grade fell 47 percent, it said.
