RenaissanceRe Says Thailand Floods Cost $45 Million in Quarter

RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (RNR), a Pembroke, Bermuda-based insurer, said the Thailand floods cost the company about $45 million in the fourth quarter.

“Meaningful uncertainty remains” regarding the full extent of the cost, the company said today in a statement distributed on Business Wire.
