Mexico’s Antitrust Agency Makes Decision on Televisa-Iusacell Transaction

Mexico’s antitrust agency made a decision on Grupo Televisa SAB’s investment of $1.6 billion in Grupo Iusacell SA, the agency said today.
The Mexican regulator, known as Cofeco, didn’t disclose the nature of its decision and said it must notify the parties involved in the transaction, according to an e-mailed statement.
