German 10-Year Government Bonds Advance; Yield Declines to 1.98 Percent

German 10-year bunds advanced, pushing the yield on the securities down two basis points to 1.98 percent at 9:30 a.m. London time.

The 30-year bond also rose, with the yield slipping two basis points to 2.62 percent.

German two-year notes pared a decline, leaving the yield less than one basis point higher at 0.23 percent.
