EU’s Lewandowski Sees Need for Jobs Investment, Stuttgarter Says
Austerity alone won’t be enough to address the euro crisis without “public investment to revitalize the jobs market,” Stuttgarter Zeitung quoted Janusz Lewandowski, the European Union budget commissioner, as saying in an interview.
Demand has been created due to cuts to public spending, the newspaper cited Lewandowski as saying in an e-mailed preview of an interview to be published tomorrow.
