Bukit Asam, Global Mediacom, Radiant: Indonesia Equity Preview

Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.

The Jakarta Composite index rose 0.2 percent to 3,994.58.

PT Global Mediacom (BMTR) : Indonesia’s biggest media company plans to sell 1 trillion rupiah ($111 million) of bonds in the second quarter to buy back shares, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing an unidentified executive. Global Mediacom rose 3 percent to 1,030 rupiah.

PT Radiant Utama Interinsco (RUIS) : The service provider to the energy, oil and gas industries plans to sell about 300 billion rupiah to 400 billion rupiah of bonds in the second quarter for debt refinancing, working capital and capital expenditures, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing Director Arsyad Lubis. Radiant fell 2 percent to 240 rupiah.

PT Semen Gresik (SMGR) : Indonesia’s largest cement producer estimates 2011 net profit may have risen 10 percent from a year earlier to 3.9 trillion rupiah, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing President Director Dwi Soetjipto. Semen Gresik dropped 2.1 percent to 11,600 rupiah.

PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) : The state-owned coal producer predicts 2011 net profit of 3 trillion rupiah, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing President Director Milawarma. Bukti Asam had a net income of 2 trillion rupiah in 2010, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The company proposes a dividend payout ratio for 2011 of about 55 percent to 60 percent, the report said. Bukit Asam gained 1 percent to 19,950 rupiah.
