Berkshire’s MidAmerican Creates Renewables Unit, Led by Fehrman

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A)’s energy unit established a new business to aid investments in unregulated renewable generation, including wind, geothermal, solar and hydroelectric projects.

Bill Fehrman was named president of the new renewables unit, according to a Business Wire statement today from Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire’s MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co.
