Bartolo Colon Agrees to One-Year Contract With Oakland Athletics

The Oakland Athletics signed free- agent pitcher Bartolo Colon to a one-year contract, the Major League Baseball team said.
Colon, 38, went 8-10 with a 4.00 earned-run average for the New York Yankees last season.
The righthander has a record of 161-113 during a 14-year career with Cleveland, Montreal, Anaheim/Los Angeles, the Chicago White Sox, Boston and New York.
He won the 2005 American League Cy Young award when he went 21-8 for the Angels.
