De Longhi May Take Over Nokia’s Romania Facilities, ZF Reports

De Longhi Spa (DLG), an Italian home appliances manufacturer, may open a factory in Romania by taking over Nokia OYJ (NOKIA)’s facilities in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Ziarul Financiar reported today, citing unidentified market people.

The Cluj county board is negotiating with five companies over the Nokia facilities after the phone-maker said it will close its factory, the newspaper reported, citing Alin Tise, head of the county.

Talks with two of the companies are at an advanced stage, Tise told the Bucharest-based newspaper, without naming any of the firms.
