Argentina New Import Controls Will Increase Inefficiencies, Moody’s Says

New import controls announced by Argentina this month will result in greater economic inefficiencies in the long term, and only moderately constrain the worsening trade balance in the short term, Moody’s Investors Service said in its weekly credit outlook.
