Wife of French Education Minister Takes Own Life, AFP Says

The wife of French Education Minister Luc Chatel committed suicide, Agence France-Presse reported.

Chatel confirmed the death in a written statement to the national news agency, and asked that his family’s privacy be respected, AFP said.
