Brazil to Delay Planned Budget Cuts Until After July, Folha Says

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff may postpone about 60 billion reais ($34.2 billion) of planned budget cuts until after July because of municipal elections, Folha de S.Paulo reported, without saying where it obtained the information.

The government will seek to increase public and private spending in the first half of the year to revive the economy, according to the Sao Paulo-based newspaper.
